Interesting. So the carbon monoxide would cause cancer, then the THC would limit it's growth... contradictory, but even so, interesting information.

Also! Don't dislike disagreeing with me!! I thrive on intellectual growth! particularly when the counter-argument is as well presented as yours is! Those are good sources. (As opposed to a couple years back when somebody tried to present a badly written propaganda article in "High Times" as their proof.)

Evolution of thought and knowledge!! FOR SCIENCE!!

I still believe that the layman's argument for marijuana is bubkis though. I mean, we could always just provide the cannabinoids in aerosol form, after all.

[EDIT: Wow, once again, smacked in the face. For those who didn't check out the first document, it mentions that there already ARE drugs basic on cannabis... in other countries. America chooses the plant... comparatively speaking. Although, I do disagree with their implication that Nabilone is connected to marijuana. From my understanding, it was actually an accident that it ended up being similar. On the other hand, you never truly know. Still, I like this document, considering how difficult it is to get correlated data on international studies. This basically just finished some of the footwork for me.]

As I continue reading, I'll say I still stand by my assertion that most medicinal marijuana use is perpetuated by social behavior, in opposition to other readily available treatments. In the US, anyways.

I also wish to clarify that I am against the above statement (and the "high" culture), not specifically against the plant or the chemicals within the plant. I will stand by legalization when the public considers marijuana a medical plant, like digitalis, rather than a way to get high.

I have so many other sources but they're all in print not online ._.

Basically. Go read the Wikipedia article on Medical Cannabis.

I dislike disagreeing with 9 but here I must disagree. Cannabis has some fairly well documented uses and they do sell synthetic THC as Dronabinol, but it is not exactly easy to just extract from the plant naturally.

As far as industry goes: this is what regulators are for.
